The entries in this diary are far more personal, and each page is more densely packed (with two handwritten lines per printed line) than previous diaries. The books are together in a black and green carrier set. The inscription on one says “F. Hall from Mr. Lewdson May 1906…In memory of the past seven years.” Unsure of how he relates to the Preston Family, but they were included in the collection.

Scope and Contents 1949: A black regular sized diary with the outer binding in great condition and the inner binding is falling apart. Betty wrote about her relationship with Bill in this journal. She wrote about going on dates to the movies, but the couple broke up on Betty’s 22nd birthday. They reunited a while later, and Bill proposed to Betty on Christmas.
