Abstract

Writings, notebooks, correspondence, and photographs document Barber’s work as an international journalist from the late 1970s to 2014. Contains materials from Trinity College as well as the notebooks of poetry he wrote after graduation (1965-1979). Materials from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), where Barber was a senior writer and editorial director of FrontLines (2002-2010), are included as well.

Scope and Contents The Papers of Joseph Henry Ehlers consist of nine scrapbooks, one photo album, one Japanese philatelic collection, two boxed award plaques, one Japanese magazine, and miscellaneous correspondence. The collection spans from 1917 to 1984, the years of Ehlers' travels and his professional career. Scope and Contents The Spiro Peterson papers is comprised of two gifts, one from Peterson's brother and the other from his widow.
