Scope and Contents

This series includes photographs depicting 19th century buildings in Italy-- primarily in Florence, Rome, and Southern Italy. It further includes photographs from India from the late 19th century made with a collodion process on albumen print depicting people and landscapes such as the port of Ceylon, Colombo, palaces, lakes at Manasabal, and the Himalayas.

This collection is open to the public and must be used in the John M.K. Davis Reading Room of the Watkinson Library, Trinity College Library, Hartford, Connecticut. Researchers must register and agree to copyright and privacy laws when using this collection.
