Memoranda: War Relocation Authority (WRA), 1944
Scope and Contents
Memoranda span WWII from 1942-1945. They deal with the relocation of Japanese Americans. Addressed subjects include Japanese for wartime labor, testimonies before the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Un-American Activities, inquiries into claims made by newspapers that food was being hoarded for Japanese internees, as well as discussion of racial discrimination against Japanese Americans in conjunction with U.S. Air Force.
