Scope and Contents
This collection contains memoranda from the War Relocation Authority (WRA) spanning 1942-1945, during which George E. Graff worked as an officer. Graff collected memoranda, publications by the WRA, as well as photographs from the camps he was located at.

Biographical / Historical
George E. Graff served as an officer in the United States War Relocation Authority in World War II whose principle duty was the relocation and internment of Japanese Americans during the war. Graff worked with the Relocation Authority from 1942-1945 where he served in-charge of relocation first in Detroit, then in Buffalo, New York until the office closed December 31st, 1945. His duties included writing reports on district activities for Japanese Americans who had been "resettled" in internment camps.
