Scope and Contents

Series depicts Japanese Americans in internment camps during WWII performing childcare and manual labor activities such as hospital work and outdoor labor. They also depict social life in the camps in Detroit, Michigan including excursions to church, and daily home life. Photographs were created by the War Relocation Authority.
