Folder 2: "Class Schedules, 1923-1949" Folder 2 of 5: 1930s, 1930 - 1939

Labeled predominately “Class Schedules,” this collection of material is just that—the listing of classes, enrollment, credit hours, instructor, and the classroom in which the class was taught. The range of the documents is slightly more than 30 years, 1923-1959. In many cases, the lists for both the “Trinity” (Spring) term and the “Christmas” (Fall) term are present, and in later instances, so is a “Summer School;” list, giving a complete picture of an academic year at Trinity College. Also included in several cases are updated requirements for both the B.A. and B.S. degrees.

As a collection, the material doesn’t vary much until the last two folders. The contents of folder number 16 are historically interesting; it contains some undated brochure for a fund raiser to restore Alumni Hall after what is presumed to be the first fire that building suffered in the 1920’s, as well as post-WWII Bulletin that lists classes available for returning veterans. Folder 17 contains a number of undated documents related to teaching at trinity, including standardized test results and day to day notifications as well as several unrelated newspaper clippings, one of which highlights the school’s centennial in 1923.

Originally housed in two folders labeled “Class Schedules 1950- “and “Class schedules 1923-1949.” Material was broken down and rehoused into folders that bear the original headings of the folders they were once in.
