Abstract The Monday Evening Club Records contain administrative and historical material that documents the activities of the Hartford men’s literary and social society founded in 1869, and contributions to the club made by its members. Prominent in the records are club meeting minutes, correspondence, and club histories, but the bulk of the records consists of several hundred papers presented by members at their dinner meetings held on Monday evenings six times a year. Scope and Contents

This collection contains primarily bills and correspondences from booksellers related to Ostrom Enders' (1902-1994) purchases in the field of ornithology. The bills and correspondence span the later half of the 20th century, primarily the 1960s-1980 when Enders retired and took up the study of ornithology. The vast majority of the correspondence deal with purchases, and come from booksellers such as Antiquariaat Junk and Bow Windows Bookshop.
