Scope and Contents From the Series: This series primarily consists of correspondence from 1827 to 1855 related to the founding of the Watkinson Farm School, and business relations between David Watkinson (1778-1857), and his brother-in-law, Ezra Clark, with whom he went into printing. It also contains financial records from 1803-1804, ledgers, and a photograph of Ezra Clark Jr. Notably, it also includes the travel diary of Olivia Hudson (Watkinson), David’s wife, and three of her letters addressed to acquaintances.
