Bird on Branch with wings spread, 1824
Pencil drawing of bird perched on branch, perhaps about to take wing. Drawing 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" on card 4 1/2" x 3" embossed with grape vines along frame and lyres at corners. On verso: "S C. to EHP. 1824" with tissue guard affixed to top. S C. may have been Sarah Coleridge (1802-1852), daughter of Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
Spectre Bridegroom, 1824
A pencil drawing depicting a scene from "The Spectre Bridegroom", a short story by Washington Irving, first published as part of "Sketchbook" in 1819 and in London the next year. The scene portrays the young woman and her aunt with the spectre bridegroom outside their window. 2 3/8" x 3 3/4" drawing on card with decorative floral embossed frame 3" x 4 1/2". On verso: pen inscription "Spectre Bridegroom AW to EHP 1824" with tissue guard affixed above.

Two etchings of Italian scenes. Both signed by B.W.[?] Dibblee to lower right of etchings. One signed "Piazza SS Annunziata" [Florence] at lower left corner of paper. Etching 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" on paper 4 3/4" x 6 1/2". The second is untitled, but appears to be a town gate with buildings surrounding. Etching 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" on paper 4 1/2" x 5 1/2".
