Scope and Contents
This series documents Barber’s time as a senior writer for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and editorial director for FrontLines. Includes letters, articles, notes and pictures on humanitarian projects, including a trip to Nepal, notes on the Assassination of Larry Foley, photos taken on a humanitarian mission to Iraq in 2003, photos of the destruction caused by the Tsunami in Indonesia in 2004, and an article on aid to Egypt in 2007. Also includes publicatons on humanitarian aid to developing countries like Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, among others.
