From 2010-2014 Barber was an online columnist on foreign affairs for the McClatchy Washington Bureau and the Huffington Post. Included are copies of articles on Osama Bin Laden, Secretary Clinton’s visit to Yemen, the Arab Spring, African lead mine poisoning children and the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. This series also contains a published account of the people Barber met while working in developing countries titled Groundtruth: Work, Play and Conflict in the Third-World, as well earlier manuscripts on the same topic.
