Scope and Contents

Contains coursework and papers written by Barber on religion and philosophy while at Trinity College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1964 (though he entered with the class of 1965). Also includes a class reunion guide from 1990 for the class of 1965 in which Barber contributes a personal statement; a letter Barber wrote to his classmates is here as well. In addition, the series contains application materials, course schedules and a paper on geography from Barber's time as a Gannett Fellow at the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he received a certificate in Asian Studies in 1987. Contains updated versions of resumes, references, and personal statements, as well as applications for fellowships. Ephemera includes a collection of maps and guides and miscellaneous items. The series also includes a draft of Barber's unpublished memoir in two parts, "Don't Need No Friggin' Taxi."
