Scope and Contents

Mostly dealing with a camera given by Clark to Hunter, which Hunter then used on his trip to Siam (1 carbon by Clark; 3 letters written by Hunter, each on paper with 'portrait watermarks' of Hunter). All 4 letters had once been laid in the Watkinson Library's copy of Papermaking in southern Siam (Chillicothe, 1936), Private Press QUARTO TS1095.S5 H8.

Includes paper made by or for Dard Hunter: (1) Holograph signed by Hunter to Carlos B. Clark, Feb. 2, 1933, has large-type 'DARD HUNTER' watermark and a 5.5 in. half-page light-and-shade 'portrait watermark' of Hunter. (2) Typed letter signed by Hunter to Carlos B. Clark, May 1, 1935, has 2 in. 'portrait watermark' of Hunter and 'DARD HUNTER' watermark at the usual location of stationery letterhead. (3) Typed letter signed by Hunter to Carlos B. Clark, September 10, 1936, has 2 in. 'portrait watermark' of Hunter and 'DARD HUNTER' watermark at the usual location of stationery letterhead.
