Scope and Contents

Pencil and gray watercolor view of Inverness Garrison, drawn on card 4 1/2" x 3"; sketch is 3 3/8" x 1 7/8". Card is framed by an embosssed border of roses and thistles. On verso: "Inverness Fort. MHW. to EHP. 1824." with tissue paper guard mounted at top.

Inverness Garrison, on the East bank of Loch Lomand, was constructed in 1718.
