Scope and Contents

Report of the Select Committee to whom were referred the memorials and petitions from citizens of the United States, residing in all sections of the Union who suffered by French spoliations on their property prior to the ratification of the convention with France of the 30th of September, 1800. [Washington, D.C.] Ritchie & Heiss 10 p.

Supports some form of remuneration for the descendants of most of the original parties who were damaged, some as early as the immediate post-Revolutionary era.
