Ballot box, circa 1940
Scope and Contents
Wood and brass ballot box with removable wood handle, containing thirty-nine white wood balls and twenty-three black wood cubes used for discreetly casting votes on new members or other club decisions. The box is in its original paperboard carton; on the lid is inscribed "Monday Evening Club" in the hand of club secretary John C. Parsons.
