Scope and Contents
44 pp of which 14 contain hand-written recipes (mostly desserts) in decorative script with rubricated titles. Hand-embroidered silk cover and embossed, polished Japan endpapers. A hand-written note on the first page states, "from the library of Henrietta Hague (d. 1991) of Pebble Beach, believed to be her grandmother's, from the South, circa 1880."
