Scope and Contents

This series includes NAACP and NUL files related to suffrage of women, civil rights, the labor party, and the NAACP in Connecticut spanning the 1920s- 1940s, as well as geographic files on Connecticut in the 1940s-1950s. NUL files contain information on Hartford education, crime, child care, and labor.
