Journals: Olivia Watkinson’s trip to England, 1819 - 1820
Scope and Contents
This series primarily consists of correspondence from 1827 to 1855 related to the founding of the Watkinson Farm School, and business relations between David Watkinson (1778-1857), and his brother-in-law, Ezra Clark, with whom he went into printing. It also contains financial records from 1803-1804, ledgers, and a photograph of Ezra Clark Jr. Notably, it also includes the travel diary of Olivia Hudson (Watkinson), David’s wife, and three of her letters addressed to acquaintances. Series is arranged by material type.
