Scope and Contents
This series contains several photographic portraits of Barnard from ca. 1836-1896, as well as printed materials such as proofs, newspaper articles, journal articles, and pamphlets. Also included are reports from St. John’s College (Annapolis, Maryland) during the mid-19th century, and some news articles and records related to Wisconsin University and Yale University from Barnard’s time there. Programs primarily relate to education conferences such as World’s Educational Congress, Chicago, 1893, and local school anniversaries in Connecticut. It also includes catalogs from Barnard’s library, certificates, and memberships held by Barnard.
