Scope and Contents

This series includes broadsides, schedules, death certificates, engravings, and reviews of Sarah Bartley (1783-1850); a prominent British stage actress from the early 19th century. Allen wrote a short biographical manuscript of the actress in the early 1900s, documenting her theatrical career. The series is arranged alphabetically by subject.
