Scope and Contents
This collection contains correspondence, camp lists, reports, and photographs from WWI. It also contains paperwork used for filing reports on prisoner-of-war camps during the war. Correspondence are primarily from the war period. Lists and reports document statistics and information on British prisoners held in German camps, including locations of camps. Also included in this collection are photographs depicting German soldiers and weaponry, and Red Cross activities, including medical assistance, prosthetics, occupational and physical therapy for wounded soldiers. The bulk of the photographic material is annotated in German.
