S. Graeme Taylor collection
Scope and Contents
This small collection consists mainly of Trinity College football memorabilia, though a few other sports are represented within the Press Books and newspaper clippings. Programs from Trinity College football games spanning the dates 1939 to 2009 comprise the majority of the folders. One folder of football programs from three Williams College games is here also. In addition, the collection includes film reels of the four quarters of a Trinity football game against Pennsylvania Military College (PMC) on October 25, 1969.

This collection is open to the public and must be used in the John M.K. Davis Reading Room of the Watkinson Library, Trinity College Library, Hartford, Connecticut. Researchers must register and agree to copyright and privacy laws when using this collection.

Biographical / Historical
Smedley Graeme Taylor was born February 6, 1930 to James Robinson Taylor II and Dorothy Smedley Taylor. He graduated from Episcopal Academy, Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, in 1948 and went on to earn AB and MA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
While Taylor himself did not attend Trinity College, Taylor's younger brother, James Robinson Taylor, III, graduated from Trinity College in 1950 and his great-nephew, William T. Kaplan, graduated in 2013.
S. Graeme Taylor loved Trinity College and spent many fall weekends attending Trinity and 'Little Three' football games.

This collection was donated by Elizabeth Taylor on February 17, 2020.
Processing Information
All materials were placed into acid-free folders and a records storage carton. Film reels were removed from metal canisters and re-housed in plastic canisters.
