'Reconstructing American Literature' Correspondence and Files
Scope and Contents
Series 1 consists of Reconstructing American Literature correspondence and files, the bulk coming from the 1980s. The materials highlight editorial decisions such as what constitutes particular genres in literature, as well as disagreements over genre and resource choices for the Heath Anthology. Correspondents are members of academic circles, universities, as well as publishing houses.
