Abstract The Monday Evening Club Records contain administrative and historical material that documents the activities of the Hartford men’s literary and social society founded in 1869, and contributions to the club made by its members. Prominent in the records are club meeting minutes, correspondence, and club histories, but the bulk of the records consists of several hundred papers presented by members at their dinner meetings held on Monday evenings six times a year.
